Our Process
The formula for any successful landscape project is 80% design and 20% simply following the plan once it's created. That's why we've developed an 11-step process that guarantees the results that you're hoping for. Here's how we approach every project we undertake.
If you have any questions that relate to your specific project, please contact us. We would be happy to discuss it with you.
- Concept Design
Our landscape design specialist meets with you in order to fully understand your vision and to blend your ideas with ours to achieve the maximum results consistent with your budget and the existing natural features that we have to work with.
- Develop Scope of Project
Once we fully understand your vision, we create the initial design plans and meet with you for your comments and suggestions. This process continues until you are 100% satisfied that what we are proposing is what you had envisioned.
- Define Materials and Equipment
Next we determine the materials and equipment required to breathe life into the design and make it look as good in real life as it does on paper.
- Budget Development
Armed with these details we are able to create a working budget that includes all materials equipment and labor.
- Determine Final Cost
After reviewing the design with you one more time, and making any final changes that you may have come up with, we present you with a firm project cost that will not vary unless you make changes to the design after work has begun.
- Contract Implentation
A contract is drawn up that details the work that will be performed, the materials that will be purchased on your behalf, and a schedule of deliverables an payments covering all phases of the project.
- Project Startup
After the contract is accepted and signed we schedule a start date and procure the required materials.
- Project Implementation
On the appointed start date, weather permitting, we commence work on making your vision come alive.
- Define any Project Change Orders
As the work continues you may become inspired to add new features or change existing ones. We'll accommodate those changes and modify the project costs as required.
- Project Wrap-up
Once the project is completed we'll clean up, remove any project-related debris, and put the finishing touches on your dream.
- Sign-off
The project isn’t done until you say it's done. Once you’re 100% satisfied, you'll sign off of the delivery document and all payments will be released. Then you can sit back and enjoy your 100% Minnesota natural creation.
